Setting up a TV

Open tv.mantelboard.com in your TV's web browser (or install the Mantel app on Apple TV). A 6-digit code appears — in the iPhone app, tap the TVs tab → “Add a TV,” then scan or type the code.

The TV screen turns off

Mantel keeps the screensaver away, but your TV's own sleep timer wins. Check the TV's power or sleep settings (often called “Auto Power Off” or “Sleep After”) and lengthen or disable them for the room where Mantel lives.

The board looks out of date

Open the Mantel app on your iPhone — boards refresh when the app opens, and the TV picks changes up within about half a minute.
